A New Chapter for Dear Heart Signs: From My Heart to Yours

Why It Was Necessary to Press Pause

Dear Heart Signs has always been about more than signs. Since 2015, our little studio has carried the heart of creating pieces that celebrate life’s most meaningful milestones. From weddings to businesses, from baby showers to anniversaries, we’ve poured ourselves into designing signs that capture beauty, love, and joy.

But over the past few years, life asked us to pause. Behind the scenes, Tim and I faced difficult health challenges that required us to step away from the pace we once kept. So in February 2025, we made the very difficult choice to close the doors to Dear Heart Signs.

It was a season of healing — physically, mentally, and spiritually — and it gave us the clarity we didn’t know we needed.

Faith + Integrity at the Core

During this time, we realized something important: we don’t want to go back to “business as usual.” Numbers and sales can never be the measure of success for us again.

Our work must reflect the values we hold most dear — creative excellence, the highest quality, heartfelt service, and now as a brand… faith + integrity.

Faith + Integrity means that the way we run our business matters just as much as what we create. It means honoring our clients with care, but also honoring our own lives by being intentional about what projects we take on, how many orders we accept, and even the materials we use. (You may know that working with wood became harmful to our health, and so we’ve made the choice to no longer use it in products and projects that involve cutting and sanding.)

A Healthier Rhythm

It’s easy in this industry to get caught up in saying “yes” to every project that knocks on your door. As wedding vendors, we know how quickly impossible deadlines and endless demands can take over...leaving little space to breathe.

I am so thankful for my husband Tim, my mom, and our designer Ashley. Even under pressure, their excellence never faltered. But the truth is, you can only burn the candle for so long before the flame gives out.

That’s why Dear Heart Signs is moving into a new, intentional rhythm. Instead of staying open year-round, we’ll now work in seasonal time frames that allow us to serve you wholeheartedly while maintaining a sustainable pace.

Our Seasons:

Fall (September–December): Focused on fall events, holiday signage, and our highly anticipated Christmas Shop.

Late Spring–Early Summer (April–June): Dedicated to weddings and milestone celebrations.

This rhythm allows us to pour our full energy into your projects, giving each one the time, attention, and creativity it deserves. If you’d love for us to be part of your special moment, we encourage you to book several months in advance. Early booking secures your spot on our calendar and ensures we can create something truly thoughtful and one-of-a-kind for you.
